Dave you might want to give the guys that did my seats and the TR512 as well. They dont sell dye per se but they might be able to mix what they used on mine from a saved code or something. They matched my leather perfectly as they did on the TR.

You can ask them if they would mix some for you as well using a sample.

    Sean is your contact.

How do you go about sending them a sample? Where are you getting the extra hide?

Dave, if you still have the Leatherique dye you can tint the color by adding a little white or brown or yellow or red. Fiebing's acrylic leather dyes can be used to tint.

Since I have the car apart, I could cut a small piece wrapped over a current part. Or, I could send them the small panel from the ebrake surround. Or, I can send a piece of the sample Coach Trim sent as it's a perfect match.

John, I tossed the Leatherique dye in the trash over a year ago.

I agree, Leatherique is a great product for cleaning and rejuvenating.....the die can be a little finicky.

Don't bother with scuffmaster either. they basically sent 3 vials that need to be mixed to match , and trust me , i mix the paint out in our shop so i have experience , and no way would the 3 colors they sent match , i went and got some orange tinting agent to achieve a match , but it wasn't easy .

Dave, where did you find the code for the tan interior? There was a thread awhile back from BCWAWRIGHT(Bruce) asking this question, but no one replied with the answer to the question.

    Jim,

A dealer provided me a screen print of my 98 build and it had the code. I've also seen the code listed on Fchat several times and I found the photo posted in this thread here on Fchat

Re Originals and Coach Trim both knew the color right away and sent me Leather samples that are perfect color matches. Coach Trim has the more proper leather texture so they will be removing my seats and dash for the 95

Thanks Dave for the info. I don't know if you remember but I was thinking about having some floor mats made by Coach Trim to OEM specs. After seeing the sample that they sent you, I think I am going to do this. What is also a bonus is that they are in our neck of the woods, and not across the country. :) The quote that they gave me was very reasonable.

Well, they sent me leather samples, not carpet so be sure you get carpet samples. Re originals sent me carpet samples but they don't match. They may have other options - I did not ask for them, they just sent them

Here is the build print for my 98
