Leather on the dash of my 2011 California has shrunk and pulled away. Dealer qouted $15k. Any suggestions for alternative fixes? Open to any replacement, patches or replace completely with other material like carbon fiber. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Indianapolis. Purchased Scottsdale where I have second home. Have not found local solution so maybe better options to ship elsewhere.

Cant Help with dash, But I am on the Southeast side of town. If winter continues to Hold off hope to see you around.

Have you talked to Graham Rahal Performance in Brownsburg? Among other things they are a CGT shop. I used Slate Performance to redo a headliner on my w140. The do a lot of Custom work. Maybe Network with Silo club, downtown or Motor District Up in Westfield. The FCA chapter has gotten active again as well here

May have better luck searching on the Chicago forum for upholstery help.

The reason I asked is because the guy that did my F430 lives in the San Fernando Valley, CA. He’s done the dash on a buddy’s 599 that’s in Torrance, CA and another Ferrari of his. I also referred two others from FC to him last month.

He does excellent work with the R&R and his friend in Long Beach, CA does the actual leather work/stitching. He wasn’t anywhere near $15,000, that’s ridiculous.

Maybe you could ship it to him and save $10,000ish. If you want his info, PM me.

Thanks for the help. I did see Rahal listed as the IN local resource for Bring a Trailer. I’m looking to sell or trade the car and debating fixing or not. If I trade probably don’t need to repair. Lower trade value would be offset by sales tax savings. Will definitely discuss options with Rahal.

I appreciate your info. Will sell or trade the car so looking for simplest solutions. If
I were keeping it would take you up. Surprised no one has come up with a carbon fiber substitute since this is such a common (and recurring) issue.

You might try myricambi.com for a carbon fiber binnacle. I bought one for my 458 Italia, but /i'm not sure they have one for your model. Their weave is perfect. Phone is 561-900-7033
