From chatting with a dealer if I lease through my personal company (small business) they would have me as a co-owner and it should not need commercial plates.

However, the RMV said that there is only one lessee, and if that is the business it will trigger a commercial plate?

GEICO said that generally leasing to a commercial entity would allow me to put the car in the personal policy if I have personal plates.

Anybody else faced this issue? Thank you.

I lease a car through my business. The reg says my business name, I was the guarantor on the lease and it has regular plates.

Do you know if it depends on the state? Which state was this in if you can disclose? RMV in Taxachusetts didn't really want to listen to this argument and they said company will turn to commercial plates.
