Man, this thread is like a car wreck. Here's my opinions (as if any body cares, but hey, WTF) as a "disinterested" third party: 1) Darth probably shouldn't have started this. But, I don't know his motives, and if Rob's OK with it, it's his site. And, I gotta admit, that booblehead is pretty funny. 2) I remember Roland's post from the old F-chat. I (and probably most everyone else at the time) read it to mean that he won at Lemans in 68 and 69. Also, that he raced in 70-72 and 78 but DNF'd. 3) Fchat has always welcomed non-owners, as well as owners. In many cases, they have contributed much, and it is very likely that many of them will become future owners. This is a site for enthusiasts. If you want to go to an owner's only site, go to www.owners.ferrari.com. 4) Sloan83QV's comments are a poor reflection of himself. 5) I would like to see Roland's comments on this. Why did he say what he did? Was it just internet bragging? If so, apologize and move on. Dom
