New 488's come with a sticker on the sun visor to the effect of "this csr has a Takata airbag which must be replaced in 2 years". Only Ferrari could think that is an acceptable approach.
Any one know a BMW affected by this? BMW don't have a replacement for some models. BMW are paying people what the value of the car and scrapping the it. If you look at the BMW pdf there are over 11,000 pages of VIN numbers effected.
They were delivering cars with Takata airbags well after the problems with them were known. There are even some Pista's on the recall list.Huge liabilty issue if someone was killed by a Takata airbag installed in a Ferrari after the problems were known.
