Anyone know what the latest 812 recall campaign is about? Just got an alert today on the MyFerrari App but no details of what recall is about.

Got the same and was also wondering what it was.

Probably unconnected but I do find brake pedal feel and stopping power a little inconsistent on the 812. Also see a few reviews by car journalists who have said the same (Jethro Bovindgon’s for example). Likely unrelated issue so don’t hold out much hope for this fix fixing that concern.

Dealer told me that there had been no brake stopping issues, it was more the cap not venting showed up error messages on the car, he said there is also a software fix as well but they have not had it yet from Ferrari!

Saying that, I did see a Superfast not stop at the end of a runway run a couple of months ago, and go through a fence causing lots of damage to the passenger side of the car, I bet the passenger had brown pants after that.

That's probably my biggest -- really, only -- complaint with the way the car responds to inputs. I can never tell whether the brake pedal is going to be normal or **super** sensitive.

I’ve never really noticed inconsistent braking from my 812. It’s certainly more firm pedal feel and responsive than ‘normal’ cars, but it doesn’t seem to change for me. The 812 is pretty impressive with its brakes in my opinion.

The F8 is much more of a guessing game of brake pedal feel. Sometimes it’s a small amount of pressure and it’s like slamming the pedal. Other times you need to give it a decent amount of pressure. I guess the F8 can preload the pads so when you go to the pedal it’s going to be more responsive.
