Just wanted to know if anyone on here has delt with them, since there isn't a specific Canada section i thought this would be a good a place as any. How is their customer service, overall impressions etc. Just wanted to get a good idea of who they are how they operate. I have been there before but did not have the chance to speak with anyone, it was more of a quick inventory peek. Since there are only 3 in Canada (British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec) there's not much other competition.

For those who aren't familiar with the Canadian dealerships here's some info:

Great people, always willing to help and educate.

If you walk in you can actually walk around and ask to speak to someone.

Never dealt with them personally, but i would think like most business' they would attest to customer service first.

The receptionists are always HOT !! its got my vote.

They get my vote based on the hot receptionist category, too! :D

I'm far from a prospective customer, but they've always been extremely friendly every time I visit. It really is a great dealership, you don't receive such good attitude from even other run of the mill car dealerships, let alone high end ones. LoT is a winner in my books, I can only assume that their service is top notch.

I own Fords ...GM's....BMW's and Mercedes.....and I can tell you that Lamborghini Toronto is the best when it comes to sales and service. I've been there many times when people want to just come in and gawk...or take pictures....and they have no problem whatsoever with them doing so. I've been to quite a few BMW ...Porsche and Mercedes dealerships....and unless you're wearing a suit and tie you have a long wait to find someone to help you. The worst service department for me so far has been Mercedes. My wife has an ML63 AMG and she brought it in for her first oil change. When she bought it they asked if she wanted the front license plate on...and told her that if she didn't want it on they would put it on for her at any time. She opted to pass on it ....but then she got a ticket so she asked them to put it on when she got her first oil change. They charged her $36 to have the bracket and plate installed. It was only after an hour of bickering with the service manager that they finally waived the charge. The salesman that sold her the vehicle was going to pay for it out of his own pocket because he couldn't beleive how she was being treated. I was thinking of buying the new S65 AMG....but I'm thinking something different now. Mike the service manager at LoT is an awesome guy....as well as the sales staff and Lisa the HOT receptionist.

I went a couple weeks ago for my dad to ask about the new Ferrari's coming in. At the beginning my dad and I just took pictures, well my dad walked around while I gawked at every single Ferrari there. We ended up talking to an Italian guy who I thought would act like some sort of big shot, but he was really nice.

One thing that I find is that their prices are a bit jacked up on the Ferrari's, not sure about the Lambo's because I was downstairs, and the Lambo's were upstairs. They were renovating the stairs at that time, so I obviously couldn't take a look, but the 348s there went for 140,000$ which in my opinion is *quite* overpriced.

    Great service though.

Rick...I'm quickly finding out why. My wife's former vehicles have been the BMW M5 and the X5.. but this time she decided to try a Benz. The ML63 AMG is an awesome vehicle....but she will never buy another Mercedes again. The service department is a nightmare ....and I've heard of numerous horror stories about them. My brother's wife owns a Sl55 and she's had a few issues with it that the service department have made even worse. Needless to say that's their first and last Benz too.

sounds like things havent changed since my last car.....here's the story in a nutshell fo rthose that havent heard it.

I have owned a few with many issues, but my wife convinced me one last time...in 99 i bought a spanking new S320, just before the new style came out. At about 8,000kms 5 months into the car it was a day like today actually in Nov...very rainy, cold and damp. I was on the 401 passing Yorkdale at about 3:30 (i will never forget this)...i lost the radio, all the lights went blank...and the windows and moonroof began to open...yes..its raining, on the 401 and its about +1 and the moonroof opens full and all 4 windows...i have no turn signals...no lights, NOTHING....as i get nice and wet in my new car with my new clothes....i decide to continue to drive to Benz on Steeles and Yonge where i bought the car....of course many, many people laughing and looking puzzled at my driving in this environment.

As i pull in all soaked....i am greeted with about 20 people in service as i am the only one that is completely wet like i had a shower with clothes on...plus i had hair back then :).....and the Benz people behind the counter in service looked puzzled and seem to laugh as they think im crazy....until i yell at 2 of them to go get that piece of crap in the lot that they call a Benz with 8,000kms and 5 months old...i had another car and some apologizes within about 45 minutes....they fixed it....but i also had some odds and ends on that bucket intil i traded it in with about 15,000kms to the Lexus dealer on my current GS400 that i have a happy 160,000kms on it that cost me nothing more than brakes, tires and gas...and one new battery...and service...110% everytime i go in...plus i get a courtesy when i book to have my car serviced.

BYE BYE Benz for me....never again.

Rick I've heard that Lexus has very good service. I really couldn't complain about the BMW service department. All the maintenance and oil changes are free.....and we always got a courtesy vehicle. The wife's new benz is only 6 months old so I really don't know yet on how reliable it's going to be....but I can honestly say that the fit and finish on it is at par or above the BMW X5 4.6 she had. It kicks ass too....510 hp 0-60 in 4.4 seconds for an suv...that's wicked fast. She's never late for the kids soccer practice or to pick up some bread milk and mortadella from fortinos.

Does anyone know if Lambo pricing will be adjusted to reflect the high Canadian dollar?
Toronto Lamborghini had a yellow '04 G with 5000 Kms a while back. I talked to Vitto and he quoted
me 220K CAD. A similar car with similar milage on ebay had a buy it now price of 130K USD.
Thats almost 100K difference at $1=$1. It blew my mind on how there could be such a HUDGE difference.
Given the Canadian dollar is trading at 1.06 - 1.10 above the US dollar and is expected to stay that
way for years, is Lambo gonna come down to par? I know its a big difference, but come on???
There shouldn't be anymore than a 3% difference in pricing.
I heard that Toyota was going to announce at par pricing sometime in the comming couple of months.
If they do that, seeing they're the new big one, others would have to follow.
I know it would affect current owners big time, the value of there car would be cut almost in half, but
    it has to start somewhere?
Any information on this would be appreciated.

Wow, that is a really big difference!

I would wait a few months or a year until the market really hits the skids, and prices will have no choice but to be lowered.

Personally I would love to buy a used 360/355 right now, but I am not buying anything from Canada until the prices are in the proper range. I am not an established "millionaire" and cannot afford to spend an extra $50,000 CD for a Ferrari/Lambo if not necessary. And I don't have the time or energy to go shopping in the US either.

Its frustrating seeing that a used 360 is going for $150-170,000 CD, when I can get one from the US for $100,000.

Its not fair, but who cares about whiners like me anyways? :)

Your landed cost would NOT be 100k CAD. Say you lucked out and found a well maintained, clean 360 for 100K, that's about 97K CAD as of today's prices. Now, factor into that your shipping cost (2-3K), duties (6%), GST (7%), and other misc. registration fees (such as A/C tax, etc: a couple hundred bucks for misc. fees) you're looking at approx. 115k CAD. Not that much more, but still 15grand is nothing to laugh at. Someone correct me on this, but when you register it in Ontario do you have to pay the PST too?

I was talking about the price difference, NOT what it costs to import a Gallardo. Unfortunatly the way lambo has things setup for now, unless the lambo is 15 years or older, it is inadmissable.
Still, it costs way less to import from the US than it does to buy the same car in Canada. Forget about GST and PST, you have to pay that regardless if you import the car or buy it here. You would pay shipping fees, customs fees, RIV fees, 6.1% duty, air conditioning tax and possibley the green levy exsise tax.
My brother just imported a 2007 BMW 328i hardtop convertible and saved $18,000.00 AFTER all fees!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shipping cost him $2500 and that included customs, and RIV fees. The shipping broker took care of that as part of the shipping cost. You can do it youself and save a little if you want. He paid $100.00 air conditioning tax and 6.1% duty. He was exempt from the green levy tax which could run you an addional $3000.00.
With these savings and a little leg work, why the hell not and save a ton!
I hope stories like this will force all Canadian automobile prices to come down to par.

I don't think it will happen either....the dollar will just as soon be .70 $ like it was 3 years ago. By the time the dealers and paperwork have changed numbers, the exchange rate will bump the prices up again.
