I'm actually german and lived just outside Munich all my life until I moved to the states 3 years ago. my dad took me to Auto Konig every week end wherer I'd look at the cars for hours. wo in deutschland war das denn? geile bilder!
dachte ich mir. ich sehe da einen roten Diablo aus Dachau? ich habe lange zeit in Puchheim gelebt, falls das jemand kennt. ist ung. 20min von Dachau. thanks for the welcome!
Hello Marius, sorry but totally wrong! - The Odenwald is south east of Frankfurt (Darmstadt-Heidelberg going east). - The Diablo with the DA- plates isn`t from Dachau. He comes from Darmstadt, close to Frankfurt. - Dachau has no plates belongs to FFB Fürstenfeldbruck.
ooops, that just shows you how long it's been since I left germany. of course you're right about DA. my bad. embarassing... I know where the Odenwald is. though I've never been there myself. thanks for clearing that up!
Hi Wolfgang, thanks for sharing the pictures - better then nothing for us non-joiners ... BTW: Plates for Dachau starting with DAH - "Die Buchstabenkombinationen CC, CD, HJ, KZ, NS, SS, SA und KP stehen nicht zur Verfügung ! " better so cinque
Hi Wolfgang, long time no hear!! Nice to see the pictures of your latest outing, but I noticed two things - 1) There were no F355s ;-) 2) You didn't e-mail us poor Swiss FFO members to tell us about the event!! It's ok, I'm joking - actually I was in Italy for business most of the time in the last 3 weeks, I wouldn't have been able to make it anyway. But nevertheless... next time just drop us an e-mail, I'm always willing to come to Germany for a Ferrari meeting! Actually a few weeks ago we were on the Autobahn to Stuttgart, and the F355 got to 290Km/h before I bottled out and lifted off the throttle. I also had a chance to get the car on a local mountain pass in Switzerland on a rare sunny day, but I had real trouble shaking off a nasty Honda CBR900 on some very twisty hairpins. No matter how fast I took them, no matter how early I floored the throttle in first gear on exiting the curves... the bloody bike was always there behind me! I swear I've never seen a biker going that fast on tight hairpins. Now what I need is more power... lots more power...
Hello Andrea, great to CU back here at fchat.com About our Lamborghini/Ferrari drive out. It was a very quick and short in time call around on Wednesday for the Sunday drive. For sure and sorry, I`ll let you know and will invite you next time Yeah, the bikers....I know what you are talking about. But take it easy: I have heared it was Valention Rossi with his "old" Honda having some fun with you in the Swiss mountains CU Wolfgang
Wonderful autumn pics my friend! With my recent travel schedule (4 continents and an island in 5 weeks) I have not spent enough time with My Precious....and this weekend looks like rain Later, MARK
