That's pure speculation at this point of time.

Well, this thread is based on the words of the Marketing manager confirming the new Ferrari Hypercar without electrefication.
Idk what to tell you more.
In practice anything besides the present second is speculation, so I guess you are right.

    What's the point of making a 1600kgs-1200hp hypercar ?
I bet they are trying something different.( speculation again ).

Don't get me wrong. If it happens to be what the Laf successor really is, I'm all in for it. History shows us that such statements from Ferrari appearing in interviews have to be taken with a huge grain of salt though. Sometimes the statements were completely wrong.

This race to power with heavier vehicles makes no sense. A car of 1100kgs with 850 horsepower would be much more pleasant to exploit, right?

not even a f40 weighs 1100 kg but it exceeds a bit this value, though it had a small v8, not a v12, manual windows and gearbox, no stereo and "empty" interiors...apart from that I don't know how successful can reach an hypercar with a life cycle of 8/10 years with "only" 850hp ...

As some said before, seems like the quad exhaust pipes are fake.

Hmm, seems the engine displacement has been reduced otherwise those 2 central exhausts would be too restrictive, smaller block V12? Or a V8? Is there a soundtrack to go with the photos?

That displacement is too small for my liking. It needs to be a 6.5 litre V12 or a 5.5 litre V10, developing around 1000 HP. And the car should weigh no more than 1000 kg and it must also have a central driving position.

yes, means that will be, literally, ripped apart from other competitors hypercars (because that's what we are talking about. That power has now in the range of "supercars" with the 765LT. McLaren raised the benchmark again...)

And no, it will never, ever, weigh less than an ACTUAL 1250/1300 kg (1229kg dry weight for 765LT, "small" car with carbon frame and v8...), just to be realistic, even optimistic honestly, especially looking at the recent Ferrari's past on the matter...
This kind of hypothetical "hypercar", in fact, would be a small step forward compared to a 488 pista and a Laferrari after years of development. I can't believe that will have less than 1000hp marked by a standard production car like the SF90 Stradale (marketing suicide) and definitely I don't believe that will weigh around 1000kg like in the wet dreams that I read here and there

PS: obviusly 850hp are not a joke, no one doubts it, but they must be contextualized with the market and the competition, that's the point.
