Is there a general sentiment in the Fchat community about which type of interior, Alcantara or a Leather, would hold up and look best 15, 20 or 30 years from now if properly maintained over the aforementioned time frames?

Alcantara lasts longer in my opinion and that is if you don't use the car a lot. It does however fade over time due to wear. Leather will harden, crack and scratch.

Either way, black in both materials lasts the longest.

is easy to treat, my 50 yr. old car still is soft and not faded. but it stays inside. leather does fade if outside. but is correctable

Black alc look better than leather in my opinion but tends to fade with sun light and and seat bolsters get shinny after some time so I like alcantara only in the center.

Thank you all for the advice! The car will be kept in fully conditioned space and it sounds like I'm fine either way! Thx again!

I would go with a mix of the two materials.

I personallly think that Alcantara is a much better material for a hardcore car the LaF is. It looks much more racy.

Leather is for cars with carpet etc, not exposed floors, carbon and the like ;).
