Hi, anyone here who've installed Kline or Novitec Full Exhaust setup on their 488 could give their insight on which are better in terms of sound ?

I haven't personally installed or seen either in person but just from watching youtube vids the best I have heard in the inconel novitec valveless exhaust with the cat bypass pipes. Novitec also sells a piggyback CU to deal with the cat CEL or you can just get their full ECU piggyback CU with the Novitec tune in place for 755 HP.

From videos, nothing beats the sound of the Novitec to me. I have a Pista where I just recently installed an Inconel valveless X pipe exhaust from Novitec. I am thrilled with the sound and it has drastically changed the sound. It has much more color and highs to the sound. I am considering the Novitec 100 Cell sport cats or Capristo 200 cell ones. I just want a little MORE sound. It is definitely louder with the new exhaust and SOOOO much better, that I could leave it and be happy enough.

You noticed a big difference with your Novitec? I just installed it and it is quieter than stock. It is flat and uneventful. Seriously considering putting stock back on. Pretty disappointed thus far - hoping I can figure out how to make it sound like what everyone says

Did you put a valved or non-valved one? I’m in love with mine. Much higher pitch and much more dynamic. I have it on a Pista. I’m likely going to put on HFCs soon, just to boost top end sound.

It is valved. I was told it wouldn’t make much of a difference with the valves.

I know a guy who was not impressed with the valved on his Pista. Maybe it’s enough of a difference, but if you put sport cats on I bet you’ll be happy. The more air flowing through an X pipe the better. That’s why I went valveless, because it was a basic x pipe.

Yeah - wondering the same. Just hesitant to install cats and then have to tune and get $25k+ into it to find that it still sucks

I was standing on the side of the road tonight and a modified 488 drove by me. The sound, pitch, crackle, etc, was incredible. Sounded like being at a Grand Prix, so likely a decat. As far as tune, I don’t want to do that while under warranty, so I won’t touch the computer. I have HFCs mostly okayed by my dealer, so deciding between 200 cell and 100 cell options, and without having a valve, I need to pick carefully. There are some videos of an x pipe with 200 cell cats on a 488 on YouTube, about a 14 sec clip, and it sounds perfect to me.

So I just picked up my 488 GTB from AMS in Linden NJ and I can not believe the difference.
They installed a Ryft Exhaust with straight pipes and is valved and a tune.
The best sound I ever heard on any other 488 and when I close the valves with the remote I can do 90 and not hear a thing from the exhaust.
With the tune the car is pushing around 780hp and is a Monster!!
I’m extremely happy, I just don’t want to stop driving it.

People who don’t change their exhausts are leaving a lot of satisfaction on the table. Sound clip?
