The K-39, will be a car that will have the aim of bringing the Kimera Automobili brand back into the world of motorsport. Motor racing and rallies in particular are present in the DNA of this car brand. Besides the fact that Luca Betti has been a rally champion and great protagonist on international rally tracks as a professional driver for more than fifteen years, also the technicians, engineers, mechanics and many suppliers have deep roots and links with the world of motorsport.

Furthermore, the unmistakable Martini Racing colored stripes, which decorated and made further beautiful the sides of the EVO37, strongly underlined how much Kimera has taken up that sporting heritage and carried forward the philosophy and values of the “Turin academy” which includes pilots, technicians and men who have made Italy proud in the world of motorsport.

Strengthened by this spirit of responsibility, pride and honor towards what the brand represents today on an international scenario, now Kimera Automobili intends to turn its gaze towards the world of racing and is evaluating the opportunity to join an extremely ambitious project. All the details will be revealed in 2024.

Also in this case, the inspirational car for the K-39 is one of those that made Martini Racing’s past glorious: the light and fast “Silhouette” that raced in the World Sports Prototype Championship between the 1970s and 1980s, winning two world titles.

As for the EVO37, the K-39 will also resume those fascinating lines and those ingenious technical solutions that have given a unique character to a vehicle that is still unforgotten today. It will be a strongly “enlarged and lengthened” car, a hyper-restomod with a long tail and lines drawn by the wind.

This project, which as anticipated was born with the intention of taking part in one of the last legendary motorsport challenges, maybe could be also produced in a very limited number of units for a few lucky customers.

The anticipation grows: on June 22nd a new exciting project will be revealed

KIMERA AUTOMOBILI IS PREPARING TO ANNOUNCE THE K39 AND ITS NEXT BIG CHALLENGE

Kimera Automobili is about to reveal the third act of its history and the comeback to its origins: Motorsport.

Cuneo, June 14th 2024 – The countdown on the Kimera website goes on, time is running out and we are nearing the day when the latest news will be unveiled.

Last August, during the Monterey Car Week, Kimera Automobili had actually activated two different countdowns, one for the EVO38 model, and one for the K39.
While the first went off on the 22nd of February with the unveiling of the new EVO38, the four-wheel-drive star of the last Geneva Motor Show, the second countdown is getting to its last week and preannounces the arrival of a vehicle which strongly reminds of the old “Silhouette” car from the Martini Racing Team, the one that between the ’70s and the ‘80s dominated the World Sportscar Championship.

It’s once again a strong blast from the past: Kimera wants to rediscover and bring back to life a thrilling racecar to celebrate an era and a time when Italian sportscars were the main characters in the world’s most important races.
But there’s more: with the same spirit of that era, Kimera Automobili is preparing not only to unveil its new creation, but also to launch a challenge to modern Motorsport.

Since its birth, in very little time this automotive brand has shocked the world of motoring enthusiasts: first with the EVO37, the car that celebrated the last queen of two-wheel- drive rallying, then with its second creation, the EVO38, which fascinated all of us with the comeback of a four-wheel-drive car that pays homage to an entire dynasty of race-derived cars.

And finally, here’s the third act of this fascinating all-Italian story which will bring Kimera Automobili to its Motorsport comeback with a challenge that will be revealed on June 22nd when, in addition to the unveiling of the racecar, the ambitious purpose for which it was created will also be announced

In all likelihood, the K39 probably won’t be destined to racing programs only, as Kimera is currently studying the possibility of converting the new car to a road-legal version aimed to a very small public of collectors that would have access to an extremely limited and exclusive production slot.

There’s not much time separating us from the moment when, once more, Kimera will try to shock the world… June 22nd 2024.

Given what you have here, it looks pretty good. I don't really like the nose that well but it likely will look very different in person so I will withhold a final opinion. Good luck with this adventure.

OK, I don't like the rear taillights either. Sorry about that.

Looks pretty phenomenal I reckon! But I'm a big Lancia, and Kimera fan and it's so good seeing the marti I livery in action again even if it isn't official.

I read on their Insta posts that they're planning on tackling Pikes Peak with it! That footage is going to ruin many pairs of underwear around the world...
