I am helping my best friend Leon sell his 125cc shifter kart as he no longer drives it due to a neck injury. The kart is located in San Jose. $3.995. For those that karted with me way back, you may have met Leon, super guy.

All correspondence can to go trough me via PM here if interested and I'll make sure you get to communicate directly with my buddy. There is also a Craig's List add he posted at https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/snw/d/san-jose-125cc-intrepid-tm-shifter-kart/7455815923.html

Description: 125cc Intrepid TM Shifter Kart bought used at Cambrian Go-Karts in 2018. Great condition, refurbished, tuned and optimized everything and it's ready to take out to any track. Also, spare parts like new tires and more that go with it. Also essential accessories willing to sell. Serious offers, cash only please. Willing to facilitate a test drive with cash deposit in hand. Less than 20hrs on engine since last rebuild.

Pricing: He paid $5K and put a few K into it. He is trying to get $4kish but will take less if needed. Having owned karts, I think his asking price of $3995 is fair but you can slug it out with him :), he's a great guy!

Yup, I drove Art's shifter kart once at Sears Point. These karts will slap you like your mamma did when you got out of line!

These are about as close as you can get to an F-1 car .... performance. depending on the track, nothing can accelerate like a shifter kart - and the cornering forces are astounding - and dangerous. the major difference besides size from a shifter to a F3 or F4 is in the cars you are belted in... in the kart its all you trying to not be thrown out while driving it. At Atlanta Motorsports Park - our Shifter track record is down at 47sec.... that is 1/4 mile track, elevation and two tight hairpins... top speed just touches 100mph... more like 97- 98Mph.... my shifter lap record is 58.334sec... and I thought I was going to crash every corner.

Never had a shifter, but had a TAG125...Definitely bruised all over the body after a day of fun, especially the ribs, and thats even with a rib protector!

Can't imagine what it is like with a shifter, you guys have some big cajones!!!!

AMP is pretty taxing in a shifter... or any kart really. Ax is one of our instructors / mechanics he's really good, but even on that video he was not going full bore... I'm thinking he was setting it up for someone ... full attack mode - they get about 1-2ft of air over the top of the hill, and its a full on slide from going up the hill so down the other side... crazy fast.... and physically taxing.

It seems like a huge amount of power than the front grip can handle. Love the video. :)

Indeed, I owned and drove one for a season, incredible G's. Didn't have a G meter, wish I did. Truly amazing how sticky they are at speed.

Was not talented enough to podium.

If you ever want to experience racing at the lowest cost possible, this is it.

    Priced fairly.

The 175 IAME came out in 2019. The problem is they have a125CC bottom end. In result the power band was very narrow. It’s has so much torque that it bind the chassis. We were cracking frames. A lot racers went over to the ROK 125 cc motor which is pretty much an ICC motor(TM). Actually the TM KZ 10 125 ICC have been racing against the 175 CC and has been beating it. By the way which TM motor is it? It looks like a TM K9 B or C? Has been rebuilt completely?
