Change the battery. Hold the fob very close to the car and see if it gets a signal. Do you have another fob to test?

Preston- Quite often, the spring clips holding in the battery will widen from bouncing around in your pocket and no longer make contact. Open the case, remove the battery ( and change for a new one, hopefully, Duracell MN21B) and pinch the clips together. Reinsert the battery and spin it while holding the clips together to remove any corrosion.

Ferrari actually recommends changing the battery every 6 months, probably overkill for most Ferraris. Pick a date, like your birthday, and change all the batteries on that date annually and you should be good.

When you attempt to start the car, does the engine turn over but not start? Do you get any dash lights with the key in the "on" position?

Check Fuse 74, if the dash lights are on when you turn the key, but the engine doesn't turn over (as well as not being able to lock/unlock your door when pressing the fob).

    good luck.
