This from the Waterford Hills website: Eric (Owner of Race Rochester) is having his grand opening this weekend. To help attract attention to his building he would like to have a display of race cars out front. Since my car has no zoom he would like to offer any of the Waterford hills Owners/Drivers free rides on the track for the day in exchange for displaying your race car. You dont have to do both days if you dont want to. One day or the other would be ok. The Grand opening is this weekend 10-20/10-21. They will be open from 12:00 noon till 11:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
Mo, Give him a call. Parking the Ferrari on the front lawn in exchange for free go-kart rides seems like a good deal. I broke my race car last Sunday so that's out. But I plan to go to the Bar-b-q on Sat anyhow. How about you?
yes chris i will be at the BBQ...i don't klnow if i can make this other guys event ..i would love to help..but this week-end i am too busy...i also have tickste for sundays lions game.............MO
Wasn't too bad but was close. I almost lost my rear wheel. The big nut in the center that holds the wheel to the stub axle was gone. I thought I had a flat and pulled in but when I got out the wheel was almost off. I am sure the hub and axle are damaged but I just put it on the trailer and went home. I was going to swap out the rear suspension this winter anyway so we'll just use all of those parts from the donor car.
Ok good news then, well better than what I was thinking. Glad to hear that all is well, it would be a shame if you marred up that paint.
how much do you spend on this thing to keep it on the road/track? aprox you realy have to tell me excactly
This year I spent about 5K. That includes entry fees, new seat belts, a transmission, two sets of tires and a paint job. This winter I plan to rebuild the motor. Anytime I need parts I just buy another 924. The last one was a turbo and I got it for $500. Didn't run but I mostly was after suspenion parts. It is a real low budget way to go racing. You know the track at waterford is fun. Well it is really fun when you are surrounded by traffic.
that is cheap...your right very economical way to race...what day it was today ha.good company and all.....MO
