I lifted the lid today to do some tests ont he K Jetronic that Steve had very kindly put together for me. First thing to hit me in the eye was this rusty plate on the drivers side (RHD) which holds the K Jetronic ECU's. I thought it would be a quick job to clean up and then I would do Steve's tests.

I ended up getting distracted and fixing the plate and then pulling the ECU's apart for inspection.

I put together a few words and some big pictures and posted them here: http://www.ferrariaustralia.com/Technical/technical.htm

Just klick on the link to the K Jetronic ECU mount plate link.

Thankfully the paint dried overnight and I put it all back together after lunch today. Just another excuse to head out on a beautiful 28 degree Summers day for a test drive.

I'll put pics up of the finished product tomorrow.

Great photos -- thanks for posting them. I can say with complete honesty that I never want to see the insides of my own injection ECUs ;)

One uber-minor point is that your F113B system is really a KE-Jetronic system (the early euro K-Jetronic TRs don't have any injection ECUs at all so you might worry them if they can't find them).

Sorry Steve. I need to retitle the thread KE-Jet.

Anyhow, it went back together well and I'm happy coz it's clean and rust free. I reckon another two weeks and I would have beeen fabricating a new one it was so close to death.
