Hi All, Just traded in my 2020 F8 Tributo for a 2022 SF90 Stradale. Here are my initial thoughts..... 1. I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort considering the SF90 has the Racing Seat Option 2. Better rear visibility over the F8 3. Tighter steering 4. I actually think it has better forward visibility but that could be due to the seating position 5. Court is still out on the sliders and touch buttons over the knobs for infotainment controls 6. Doesn't feel like AWD.... 7. Quickest and hardest accelerating road car I have ever driven, its a ear to ear smile! Thanks for reading! first congrats on the new sf90 I also traded in my 2020 F8 for a 2023 SF90 in Aug 2023 I copied above and 1000% agree and added some additional comments 1. 1000% I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort considering the SF90 has the Racing Seat Option 2. 1000% MUCH better rear visibility over the F8 3. 1000% Tighter steering 4. 1000% I actually think it has better forward visibility but that could be due to the seating position 5. NOT a FAN of the slider buttons ... Court is still out on the sliders and touch buttons over the knobs for infotainment controls / not a fan of the slider buttons especially the mirrors and to open-close the mirrors 6. 1000% Doesn't feel like AWD.... 7. 1000% Quickest and hardest accelerating road car I have ever driven, its a ear to ear smile! 8. So sext to look at ... fantastic design 9. SOUND is much better than I thought it would be, as good as the F8 with a NOVITEC exhaust. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
@RobertM what wheels are you running. Novitec? I’m looking at wheels for my spider which arrives in Jan/Feb…
Nice move! Love to see Ferrari folks upgrade within the brand, Despite all the sand we throw at times, it is a fantastic ownership experience!
Vossen wheels with novitec springs 21-22 setup had Vossen wheels on the following cars Porsche Panamera Turbo Ferrari 488 Ferrari F8 Ferrari sf90 never had an issue and love the wheel design
Congatulations. Did they treat you good on your trade? I’m negotiating on the same trade with my 2022 F8 spyder. thanks.
thank you ... but my stripe is vinyl,,, same stripe on had on my f8 and Lambo STO.... I like the design..... now the funny story... I go to an event and see a SF90 with a PISTA stripe, I walk over to chat with the owner and see that his stripe is from the FACTORY and the taylor made option, proportions were a little off vs the ratio for the PISTA, but close, but odd...... I did not know or even think to add a stripe to a non- factory special car that has a stripe...... I like the vinyl option, because, I LIKE it, and I am most certain that the next owner will not ... most ferrari owners are purist..... and I am far from that .... here is my f98 and sto below Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just starting thinking of moving from an F8 to an SF90 as well. Fair amount on the market and prices have been falling, seems like it’s definitely a nice upgrade!
I recently upgraded to the SF90 Spider, but still keeping my Pista Spider…joining my other beloved classic Ferrari in my collection. Both cars captivate me with their distinct aesthetics, and I feel privileged to own each. The SF90's expansive front canopy offers an unparalleled view of the road, a feature that consistently impresses first-time passengers. Its futuristic dashboard design is striking, though I have mixed feelings about the haptic touch screens on the steering wheel; I find Porsche's approach, with an analog tachometer flanked by screens, more appealing. Nevertheless, progress in design is inevitable. I opted for a Novatec exhaust upgrade from my dealer, striking a perfect balance between a richer sound and subtlety. This aligns with my evolving taste, shifting from the loudest exhausts to a more refined auditory experience that I believe complements the car's innate character. The SF90's power is nothing short of astonishing. Its acceleration is exhilarating, though it does bring a heightened awareness of potential encounters with law enforcement. The car's design is intricate and assertive, with dynamic lines that create an aggressive yet sophisticated look. It's particularly striking as a convertible, whether the top is up or down. Initially, at the Italy launch, I wasn't sold on the design. However, this is the essence of Ferrari's philosophy: creating designs that grow on you over time, constantly innovating rather than rehashing past concepts. In summary, I'm absolutely thrilled with the SF90 and eagerly anticipate the arrival of the SF90 XX."
