Congrats, the 458 is a great car and yours looks perfect.
Congratulations what a beauty! I am slowly warming up to the idea of getting of these, hopefully in the not too far future. Did you get yours from CNC in Ontario? If so do you mind sharing your experience with them? They are local to me and have lots of goodies would be helpful to hear of your experience, thanks!
Yes, this is my second Ferrari that I have purchased from CNC. I have been very pleased with my interactions with them. They made buying my 360 and 458 easier than buying my Lexus. Their showroom is top notch and I am told that they are going to be moving to a new facility that is twice the size in a few months. Feel free to PM me if you have other questions.
Thank you for the feedback, that is encouraging. So did you get a private PPI or did you trust the dealership enough to purchase your 458 without?
I did not get a PPI with either purchase. CNC have been very honest in their assessment of each car and each car went in for service at the local Ferrari dealership between the time that I purchased it and the time that I took delivery. CNC took care of getting the service done for me.
Nicely done! Beautiful car! Enjoy ripping it around town and be ready to be social. You will be photographed, video recorded and questioned about what you do for a living but all good. Enjoy
Well, the 2010s had a campaign to correct the potential for the rear wheel well catching on fire so I didn’t want to deal with that. Also, I believe that the 2012s on had an upgraded software for the suspension. Many on this forum really want the 2010s with the old software so the exhaust has the pops and burbles on the overrun but that was not something I wanted. Lastly, I believe it was with the 2012 model year that Ferrari included 7 years of maintenance. This allowed me to get the fluid change at Ferrari when I bought it and I hope to get one more just before it expires in 2019.
Thanks for the information. There is a very nice spec near me but a MY 2010. There must have been a campaign on the burning tire? Like most manufacturers, first mldel years have some teething pains but apart from some very minor and repairable issues, it would appear that Ferrari did well. Enjoy your beautiful car!
