    Our NEW meeting point will be...........

    680 and Mission. There are TWO Mission Exits on 680 heading north out of San Jose. I am referring to the SECOND Mission exit. At this exit there is a McDonald's, a Shell Gas Station and a Park and Ride. We will meet in the Park and Ride Parking lot. There should be plenty of room for us to park and meet here as it will be a Sunday morning. Feel free to get gas at the Shell Station before you pull in to meet us all at the Park and Ride.

    In thinking about the number of people we may have meeting us from the San Jose area, this parking lot makes the most sense as it is on the way, is a route that almost everyone from the San Jose area will pass, is large enough to accomodate and has a Shell Gas Station right there.

    That is EXACTLY right. Nice job.

    Yeah, if you zoom in on the map Todd provided, you can see the McDonald's with the nice new blacktop driveway. On one side is the Park and Ride and on the other side is the Shell Station (the white tiny building and the pumps are covered by the overhang with the brown roof).

    I figured that was the one. I used to stoip there all the time when I had to Commute through there. Had to pull of one day to use the pay phone & Won tickets to see INXS at the Warfield. Michael Hutchence was still alive then. Boy that was a long time ago.

    i would like to attend, but right now i don't own a FERRARI...so at this time in my life I'm driving a 2000 Plymouth prowler or a 1939 dodge TC pickup,if one of these cars would be O K to show up in I'll be there,well if its OK? should it be the 2000 prowler or 1939 pickup?....looking forward to seeing you all.....

    I am not sure which one you should bring. I like both. I was originally going to say to bring the pickup but then I saw the Prowler and was like, "Man, I haven't seen one of those in like 6-7 years."

    I vote for the Prowler.

    Either way Fred, bring your cowboy boots!!

    Sorry to hear that. Maybe I should stop go to bed instead of trying to get the inside of my windshield clean after I sprayed leather conditioner on it WAY down by the base. I swear, I don't know how they expect you to get to that area. I even have a windshield cleaning tool and can't quite get to it.

    As a reminder..........


    San Jose group is meeting at 680/Mission Park and Ride (read the post 4 posts up) at 8:30.

    We are then meeting the Dublin group at 510/Hacienda Starbucks around 9:30 and leaving around 10am.

    Then we are heading north to Starbucks at Brentwood. From Dublin(Starbucks)> 680N > Hwy 4 > exit Lone Tree Way(One exit after Laurel) > left on Lone Tree Way > a quick left in to Target shopping center/ Starbucks.

    From there, Best Buy parking lot in Brentwood.



    If all else fails, just meet us all at Best Buy in Brentwood around 11:30!!!

    It was a great day, despite the, I'll go out on a limb here and call it heat instead of warmth. Once I have enough energy restored I'll post some photos as well.

    BTW, Bill, I paid your $10 since you weren't around when they were collecting the entry fee, so I'll just take the Diablo as collateral... :)

    Did you pay my entrance fee?? When the guy came into the pizza place to collect everyone's money, I went to pay and he said that "the guy in the blue car picked everyone's up in the row." He was pointing to your car. When I came out after lunch, I never saw you again. Did you??
