I have not been out there since high school, they are not fast, but it is a long track. The "trackattack" looks interesting, I am not aware of anything like that locally. Have you been to it? I will make it up to Stoney River at about 6:00, if there is not too much rain I am going to bring the Lotus up. Matt
Yes, My brother and I went to track attack's Renault spec racer course a few years ago. Eddie Cheever was a special guest instructor at the time. It was real fun. I also was a guest at one corporate indoor karting event there last winter. The track is tight and a lot of fun and you can do some real close racing. It's pretty far for the Ky guys but good for Indy. There is another here called FastTimes but I've never been there. Cincy may have one also. The only problem with the kart racing is that after two hours if it, when you get in your car to drive home you tend to tailgate and try to dive under other cars at ramps and corners!
Well, now that you mention it. The last time I drove a go cart I was 16 and driving my mom's car. When I got on the expressway I was trying to drive her SAAB like a go cart................. Into the ditch $4,000 worth of damage and a hurt ego, I have not returned to Kart Country!! Matt
Sophisticated Living Magazine http://www.slmag.net/ is going to come to our event on July 29th and take pictures and run an article on our club. It will be in the September/October issue. Let's see how many cars we can get there!! Matt
I am sure they take pictures of you car, it looks good! We are planning a route for the east side of Louisville, probably hitting most of the afternoon drive from the April meet. Thanks to everyone that made it out last night to talk, even though you guys broke my car!!! Matt
Matt, I will be busy moving my office that saturday to our new location so i'll be unable to attend the event unless you all reschedule it for either the next day i,e sunday or the saturday before.....pleeeaaaase...
It's not my fault, the strut said "Made By Lucas Electronics , England". If that's the worst that ever happens, it will be the best exotic car on the planet. What an awesome car.
Don't believe him Matt....I saw him break it out of jealousy. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw him bend that strut. I think Doug told him to do it also.
Yes Steve is coming on the 29th, he is not on any webpage. We are trying to get him to come here. Still can't believe you guys broke my car!! :~( Matt
Matt That is what you get when you make us pay for the tip when you pick up the whole dinner/drink tab. We break your new car I think it was Adam because every time he has sat in his Lambo since getting it, he has broken something.
Well now I know better!! But we did not break "Earlycats" car last time!!!! All kidding aside I took a look at the strut and it is stuck open. Does anyone know how I can get this fixed, or do I need to buy a new one? Matt
LOL!! YAWN! Oh...did Doug say something? I'm a beast when it comes to my cars...they must be able to handle me..if not I will build them so they can. Doug when my car is fixed, I will be more than happy to hand you a free lunch...ha! Matt, I don't think they are repairable. Sounds like the valve got stuck close? Take it to Napa and match it up. I am sure it's a common item.
Matt so is it gonna be like the April one: drive, eat, drive, end or more like the June one: eat, drive....go home
