Owning a Speciale and Tesla and 650s...let me offer up that I think Clarksen is a wonderful style performer. I don't take his car comments for anything more than comedy.

We all tuned in to see the new GT top gearish thingy he did. And it was really poor. The second episode is unwatchable. Hope they improve as its the biggest letdown of the year, sans elections.

I'd rather watch Chris Harris slide a 488 all day.

+1 especially to your last sentence! Hopefully Chris Harris and the new Top Gear trio bring something new and fresh. Also agree that the last Grand Tour episode was just horrendous and they really need to change that obnoxious driver of theirs.

    Clarkson is a Legend!

His reviews are great to read and very down to earth and blunt but that's what makes him the star that he is... I was hooked after seeing him do a review off Vauxhall vectra about 20 years ago, it was priceless! And the car was and is shockingly bad!!

As far as F cars are concerned he knows what he is talking about here, I think I'm correct in saying he still owns a 355 and pretty much that's his favourite F car... Credit where it's due...

If you want to see something funny watch ep1 of the grand tour when he is in the P1 and fu@@ed up the start and nearly crashed the thing....again priceless as that is the real world of the sort of cock ups that people make!

    Regards

    Michael
