    Well aware that this is not exactly the correct location to be asking about these, and hoping not to commit a big 'faux pas', as we are rather limited in specialty motors (machine shops) here it goes:

    I am restoring a series 1 Jaguar E type and would appreciate a good honest
    machine shop / jaguar specialist for general headwork. Seats, valves, springs, etc.
    Preferably East Coat, as I have to send the head with a friend to FL. (free ride).:)

    Would like to end with a head ready to be installed on motor, perhaps a few performance enhancements. have been told about XKS in San Luis Obispo. Rather pricey...

    Muncie Imports and Classics (Muncie, IN) rebuilt my 1964 E-Type engine & trans...top-notch work. They are one of the nation's best shops for E-Types and currently have 20 E's in their shop for service or restoration.

    We are considering going with them, as on the same ocean, and the freight starts becoming
    a big factor in the shipping. We are considering sending the motor too.

    Called them, and they sound very nice and knowledgeable. Of course, If i were in the USA,

    it would be much easier.
