Does anyone know the relationship b/w Jaeger instrumentation in the 550 and other cars and the watch maker Jaeger-Lecoutre? I've not seen Jaeger tachometers in any other makes. any thoughts appreciated.

I don't know about the history of the gauges, but the ones in the newer Maseratis are also by Jaeger. Older Ferraris of course are Veglia. I too have wondered about this - the style of the "Jaeger" logo is the same as on my JLC watch, but I wonder why the "leCoultre" part is absent on the gauges.
