Steve, from EXCLUSIVE MOTORCARS OF ARIZONA sends me the hardware, there is a local coater by him, I do not know the name. But if you google cadmium coating in your area you can find a shop near you, takes a few days for them to do the parts.

the locking nuts ( last photo, the nut with the blue plastic ) you use the old ones or let cad coated new ones?

meanwhile here in my area the companies doing this job try to safe more and more. sometimes the plating has been so thin that you just could wipe it away by hand only by touching several times. so last time I told them to put it in again a second time and this has been good. but I also payed more then :(

cadmium coating in europe with chrome 6 is not legal anymore.

in Arizona they are still a bit liberal with coating and painting, you can still spray Lacquer in this state. If you contact Steve he can help with coatings amongst other Boxer and TR stuff.

yes I purchase new ones and coat.

The problem with that is the bolts all look like generic Pep boys stuff with the wrong ID numbers rather than OEM hardware.

Save the the old hardware In a safe place. One day you might choose to re-install or let it follow the car when/if selling.

    best, Peter
