I've had the pleasure of working on and driving the twin to this car about 10 years ago during a complete restoration. Same colors and but the interior color was more to a modern ferrari beige color. It didn't have the shields. Are these decals?

What I remember most is the amazing engine and in fact, I really liked the gearbox a lot. Of course, its a retro feel but you got the sense of a real racing car of that era. Not terribly refined, a bit noisy, but with a classic feel you just don't get in a modern machine. I really loved it.

Congrats. May be the classiest F car ever. Back in 1970 I saw 5485 (?) auctioned off in Brookline Mass. I won't pain you by telling the price back then but I do wonder where it is today.

I talked to Chuck and he said he does have time to paint your Lusso and located a set of black Hercules rims for your Lusso. Chuck said he will do a frame on restoration and wants to make sure that purple metallic is the actual color that you want. Rick will call you to arrange the pick up of the car. I tried to beat him up on the price, but the best he can do is $5.600.00. The only reason he is painting your Lusso for that price is because he is really counting on your referrals from your friends that own Ferraris. He really wants to specialize in high end projects like yourself. Mitch from Color Wonders will redo your interior and does have the burgundy interior you like in stock. You can have the stereo/audio system from my F50 since I will be reconverting the F50 to stock. Let me know if you need anything else.

Chuck found someone to manufacture a custom rear wing for you Lusso. Call him today. He needs to know ASAP. The wing is from a 1987 Toyota Supra and he said it should be a perfect fit for your 1964 Lusso. He said he can make it look carbon fiber. The wing is a fiber glass wing.
