    Do you learn the circuit pretty quickly? Local guys have any advantage due to "inside knowledge"?????

    Umberto finished 43rd in yesterdays race......total distance of the three laps was aprox 120 miles.....average speed (incl. refuelling stop) was 110.07 miles per hour.
    It is a very difficult circuit to learn and the locals do have an advantage, although once racing on "closed roads", one has both sides of the road available.....the course then becomes a totally different proposition.
    If you wish alan, i could send you some video footage on VHS or possibly DVD.....my pal gaz looks after the "on board" cameras.
