Hi guys. I am awaiting delivery of my 458 and I had come across a few pics of white 458 cars that had the italian flag colours on the inside of the windscreen or just over the engine cover emblem.
Unfortunately I didn't save them and I'm having a hard time finding them back. But they're here somewhere. I really love how it looks. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

This is a spec option given by the factory so i would either contact the parts department
of the ferrari dealer or check if Ricambi offers the parts..

If I recall correctly the flag is available in either the flat thin version (like in the pic above)
    or a more square version.

    Forza Italia! :)

I'm not even supposed to see the Ricambi's website (because I live in Italy), che palle :D
I was looking for a new speedometer.

    Beautiful. Thank you!
Was it a factory option or did you put it on after?

Factory option. As mentioned above you can also get it in a square version.
When I checked the box and then asked for the price. I told my guy I didn't want it after I saw the price ($1,100). Well he forgot to take it off the order, and now I own it.

Thanks for the info. Also I see some cars have it on their w/screen(i assume on the inside). Is this just a delivery sticker or is this an option too.

On the windscreen its actually part of the pre delivery QC- you wouldn't want to leave it up there, theres all sorts of checklist type writing on it.

On the trunk you can get other flags not just Italia. Never seen the side one before but that does look nice. Whatever floats your boat. :)

You'd have to be nuts, or just have more money than you know what to dow with to spend $1,200 on a tiny stick on emblem.

I understand what you are saying, but I think you are being a little too judgmental. Everyone has a different financial background/ tolerance. If you look at the emblem as a % of the likely purchase price its like 0.5%.

I think you could apply your statement anyone buying just about any luxury item. They are all overpriced when you consider the basic function. This is all about passion and making it your own. So if one car costs about 290k and the other costs like 293k, I don't take issue with it. The time I have more of an issue with any of this stuff is when someone gets into it who doesn't really have enthusiasm or passion for it.

Anyone that pays that much for a tiny Italian flag needs their head examined.

Thanks. Maybe you should be my new wealth advisor. Are you ok with the $925 red seat belts?

I agree with your second paragraph completely. However, I don't think I'm being judgmental to an extent that doesn't overstep the apparent truth, so to speak.
I mean really, it's a tiny tiny little stick on emblem.

Agreed. It's just typical Ferrari gouging its customers.

Not really. I have a guy that can make identical emblems to these for $10 or less. Maybe I'll do just that and sell them for a mere $100. :)
