well atleast the one where we do the cars and coffee in Houston is not closing. Wylie, is that yours closing on Shepherd or the one across the street from you, or is it a different one all together?

The one on Shepherd is the little store next to 59 Diner, right before you hit 59. That store should have been shut down eight years ago. I don't think that store has ever made money, it has been carried by the other stores in its district as long as I can remember.
The Camp Bowie & Hulen location was across the street from my old apartment is shutting down after being open for 2 & half years. I never went there much anyway so no big loss for me but the place got a lot of traffic from the Rivercrest / Arlington Heights crowd, I'm sure they will b!tch & moan about it.
More than likely, the ones that are closing in Tom Thumbs will be replaced by Safeway coffee kiosks with about the same offerings as Starbucks. It would also add Gelato Italian ice cream and Parrot Ice. The stores would rather have one of these as it offers more in the way of options to the customers and the contract with Starbucks is very restrictive to the stores.
