    Plenty of high miles on the market around that price.

    I have done some homework here, the price at which these V12s are purchased by the dealers are substantially lower than list prices. This is a very unique car in that regard. This is because these cars dont sell quick and the dealer takes a huge risk with a potential (unknown) market downturn. I was looking at a car a month ago that was listed for $385k. I am friends with two GMs in different brands. They have made some calls for me and I was told if I bought that car for $385k today, I’d get a check for $320k if I decide to trade it the next day. The MSRP on the car was around $460k I believe and it had low miles of around 5k.

    Looking at F12 and FF past sales in BAT and Manheim, I can tell you the depreciation is pretty brutal. Expect 40-50% off MSRP with 25k-30k miles and no b2b warranty. So if you buy an 812 now with 5k miles for $350k that had an MSRP of 430k and drive it for 15k miles, you’ll be trading that car in for roughly around $200-$210k, dealer will list gor $280k and probably will let it go for $260-$270k depending on how desperate they are.

    Another thing to keep in mind is people rarely sell these cars on their own. Most trade them in to for another Ferrari at a Ferrari dealer. Not a lot of buyers of these cars in private car market because of the way warranty works and because how expansive the car is. Best to buy it with intention of keeping it long term and not worry about this. I used to look for cars with low miles but this may not be a good strategy. All of these cars have issues here and there. I think a car with 10-15k miles that has had its issues fixed under warranty is a better car than a car with 5k miles and no longer has warranty.
