The young guy that does my F430, Boss 302 and others cars is spectacular.
Carlos Rafael Diaz of "Every Detail."

    http://neworleansautodetailing.com/contact.html

He was selected to the prestigious 'Select Detail Team of Air Force One' and is there (detailing AF-1) until next weekend.

I've seen several other vehicles that Carlos created magic on over at Lindsey Auto in Kenner. Seeing his work in person sold me, plus he is passionate about what he does. A true professional with the absolute best products and savoir-faire.

That place is a joke. A very expensive joke, at that. I've had much better results at Scott's Soap Corner downtown on Florida & Ninth.

Thanks for the recommendations. I also apologize on behalf of other "detailing" companies for your bad experiences. It really sucks when anyone has a bad experience especially for someone that has some knowledge in automotive care. That makes it harder for you to trust someone with your car.

As for Carlos I am glad to see things may be turning around for him. He has had a rough road. The volunteer "Old Air force one project" may be some good experience for him. But planes and cars are two different beast. I have been hitting the aviation industry hard for the last 2 years and its a tough market. I have been lucky to be a part of holding contracts with netjets , flexjets etc. Most people with planes want a full exterior plane wash for $300.

I would highly recommend Carlos, as I had the opportunity to work hand in hand with him on Air Force One as well as a few exotic cars and I was amazed how knowledgeable he really was when it came to detailing as a whole. As far as the "OLD" Air Force One project goes....it is History and it is Old but the memory remains and as the paint ages and gets older...those who think its just old news...keep in mind that the project itself requires even more expertise and care than that of a new Ferrari....So kudos to the Hater that wishes he could have been a part of Preserving History.....

Well very nice first post. I will try and keep this as professional as possible. First of all the aircraft in question is technically not "Air Force One" So yes it is considered a "OLD Air Force One". Also a decommissioned aircraft does not require much knowledge in the aviation industry. Not to mention the conditions that this "Aircraft" we are speaking of is no where near as harsh as current aircraft are exposed to. There fore the condition is not as bad as current flying aircraft.

Now on to the next subject. As far as paint of a Ferrari compared to aircraft. If you indeed in fact took part of this "Air force One Project" It just shows your lack of knowledge of people that can be allowed on the project. Some of the people working on the project are very knowledge but as showing in your statement above some are not. Aircraft paint and bright work requires more working of a surface so technically a Brand new Ferrari does require more expertise and care to not burn, mare or swirl its soft to medium paint.......

Where you also their when Carlos tried to put clay on a car dry? Or where you there when Carlos mixed mean green and another unknown product as carpet cleaner and messed up a brand new Lexus? Where yo there when he let a guy scrub the ground with a brush than immediately put it on a GT 500? So like I was saying I was happy to see things turning around for Carlos and left it at that. Its also interesting that this is your first post......Have a nice day.

    Mr. Johnson,

I think the 'professional' thing would be to clearly state your expertise and savoir-faire, accomplishments and point-of-difference, rather than get into vis-à-vis with a one time post agent over a subject email concerning someone you obviously are in competition with in the same marketplace.

At just 25 years old (my guess), Carlos (of Every Detail in Metairie, LA) does spectacular work. He's prompt, affordable, pleasant and he delivers what he promises. I was amazed at what he accomplished on my 1969 Boss 302, as well as bringing my f430 up to showroom new level (or better, actually).

And I've never heard him bad-mouth anyone.

Whether AF-1 is old, decommissioned, new, or fitted with anal-vibrator seats, the fact still remains that Carlos took his time to take part in the project, learn more from it, interact with others about techniques (which I am sure are changing all the time) and now, he can honorably put this on his Curriculum Vitae.

I joined this site for intellect, networking, information, passion and a little fun from time to time on the 'net. The last thing anyone needs is an unprovoked 'rabbit punch' on the back of the head. Unless of course you want a libel/slander course of action and that's what makes you happy.

Let's keep it 'pro' and friendly and move forward.

So, yes... Carlos does great work.
Hopefully, you also do the same and have many happy clients as he does.

Well I look at my competition a bit diffrent than others. As a matter of fact I love good competition because I would rather some knowledge and skilled working people in the area than constant goons and pricks. I belive I made positive comments about Carlos in my first post dispite the way Carlos has acted in the past. I guess we will let trolls be trolls interesting I find it that account is in the new Orleans area as well as i don't see it on the company project list. But hey what does that matter.

I was having lunch with a good friend of mine last week and we started arguing over a statement he made; he thinks 85% of the people are ignorate, I disagreed, I think they are just plain stupid.

That's why no one does business with them.
