Reading that the Portofino may not be replaced by another model with a hard-top. Meaning the Roma (soft-top) is now the Ferrari convertible.

Is it true, what do you think? I prefer hard-tops and would love seeing another Ferrari convertible model with a hard-top.

Other companies seem to be moving away from hardtop convertibles. I prefer a cloth top. Lighter, way less complicated and modern European convertible tops are really tight and well insulated. No more wondering if an improperly placed trunk load of groceries is gonna result in an expensive repair.

On the plus side.. My California T feels a little less "claustrophobic" with the top up due to increased glass area

There is a necessity for hardtops. I daily drive my Ferraris and have had the experience where "a$$holes and haters" will cut your top, just out of spite or to try and gain access to the interior.

A sad reality in today's world.

Hard tops also look better imo.

Reading various articles about future Ferraris in the pipeline but none mentioned a new convertible with a hardtop. We are not the only customers who want hardtops (the Cali and Portofino were huge successes for the brand).

A pity, if true… I’ve had one too many soft tops slashed for me to ever have another one.

The 296 GTS is a hardtop convertible as is the 812 GTS.
