    What if Enzo's last name was say "Periwinkle " would a Periwinkle GTO or Periwinkle Testarossa sound as exciting as the way the name Ferrari rolls off the tongue, I don't think so! ( no offence to any Periwinkles out there, just making a point!) if not, what name could Enzo have had that would be as cool as Ferrari

    IIRC Ferrari is a pretty common name in Italy. Had he been born in the US it could have been a Smith 250 GTO, Jackson 458 Americana, or Jones NART Spyder. Doesn't quite roll off the tongue as well does it.

    TVR was started by TreVoR Wilkinson, even those with ordinary names can find a way to make them sound more interesting.

    It wasn't and it isn't. A rose by any other name would still have thorns. Instead, one forgets the thorns and concentrates on the sweet aroma. As it is, Periwinkle flowers are pretty and it is fun to watch Periwinkle snails crawl up reeds in brackish water. Drive on and enjoy.

    For example "LaCarbonara" would also sound great, or "Barolo 458 Italia", why not "Lamborghini GTO"? I would like also a "MEM FF" (Marcello Enzo Mastroianni FF) or a "C12" (Canonica 12)…

    Italien names always sounds nice! ;)

    Would a Balabushka pool cue be worth the thousands they are if George had a last name like smith? Balabushka is a sexy name.

    Hmmm I had stop watching a UK video reviewing the La Ferrari because I couldn't stand the commentator referring to the "laffa rarri" and sorry folks some of the US accents that turn the name into "Furr raree" are hard for me ... At least Ford owners don't get their marque name strangled by foreigners.
