    One thing that is different now is the constant coaching from the pit lane telling the driver how to drive and exactly what to do. Earlier generations only had the pit board to convey a very limited amount of information. The current drivers are managed by the pit lane and strategists. Max Verstappan has been quoted as saying the cars were much less physically demanding which allowed him to jump into F1 at such a young age. Power steering, paddle shifters and brake by wire have reduced the physical strength required to drive a F1 car. The cars are finally getting to be as fast as they were in the early 2000s. The shock and awe left F1 years ago, but at least they are more environmentally friendly (like anyone cares).

    Great shots Pedro. I thought that Piquet and Senna weren't the best of friends, who is in the BT52 in the last shot?

    I’ve always driven female friendly Ferrari’s - if the girl is hot, I’m friendly and offer her a lift. If she’s not, I ask her to get the drinks in for her hot friend and me!
