    Hi! Did anyone change the ECU?
    Do you need to program it???

    Since no one else has responded,I will ask you more information. Are you talking about replacing a damaged (like water-soaked) ECU? About tuning an ECU for more performance in conjunction with intake/exhaust changes? About what happens if you disconnect the battery for an extended period? Provide some context for your questions.

    the old ion ecu was damaged in an accident, replaced with a used one.

    It might need to be programmed, but there is a procedure that you should perform. It is called a proxy alignment, which basically gets all the ECUs in a car synchronized with each other. The dealership can do it, or any independent with a Ferrari specific diagnostic computer (like a Leonardo) should be able to perform the Proxy alignment.
