    Hello everyone...

    I would like to ask something about Ferrari SpA. Internship Facilities...well, I am about to graduate form my home university by the end of 2010 spring term and I am also thinking of applying for Master Programs in Europa. Beside starting my Master education, I should work in a factory at the same time to improve my engineering skills. Additionaly, I am a Metallurgical and Materials Engineer (Speciliazed in Materials Science Program) and strongly believe that combining material science to highly progressed automotive industry is capable of designing new generation engines, chassis and improving security properties.

    Here in, I have sent an application file to Ferrari SpA. Headquarters (To Human Resources Department) including my CV and application letter.

    The question is that..could you please inform me if it is possible or not...and know somebody had already done an internship there?

    Years ago when I was seeking an internship position at the Ferrari North America headquarters in New Jersey, USA for a public relations and marketing type position (which I studied at school - Business Administration/Automotive Marketing) I sent in my resume etc. and did get a letter reply which stated they had nothing available. I also received a letter reply from a BMW dealer in Quebec (Canada) with the same.

    This, to me shows a lot of class of a company. A lot of places never even replied to me whether by mail, email or phone.

    So keep trying!

    all on holiday??

    OK..we'll see what is gonna happen...I also heard that Ferrari is generally looking for MIT students. I got in contact a person working for MIT Italy but she didnt say me anything about it.

    There once was a user from Italy who posted that the cousin of his neighbor's best friends wife etc (you get the idea ;)) was the best of his year at the university of Bologna, which seems to cooperate with Ferrari on some levels. If my memory serves me correctly, that guy was approached by Ferrari and offered an internship, which according to him, again IIRC, is the only way to get in there as an intern.


    (btw, I too will graduate in 2010 as an engineer, albeit already on a Master's level, and you can guess what my favorite workplace would be ;))

    On the Ferrari World Site you can apply for positions, when I applied they only had F1 related engineering jobs. There were lots of other ones in HR and whatnot. Took them 5 months to respond though. They had an advertisement open from November till January, then there is a basic application where you can put your details in and they "will contact you" if anything comes up.

    and you mean that ..we can easily see the Internship announcement in the offical site...and wait for november ..right?

    The factory is closed during August. Expect a delay in response.
