I found it interesting, but I am a bit of a numbers nerd.

I've seen several of his videos....tough to sit through but enjoy the analysis. And I suspect pretty accurate on mass-produced (10k+) exotics.

So is it time to have a little evaluation on the prices for a first gen Ferrari California? I just reviewed the Ferrari auction at Silverstone yesterday and one of the lots was a Rosso Corsa 2011 California with 19.320 miles that sold for £96,188 or $121,000. I assume that it will be + auction fees.

The strongest buy at the auction could possibly be this F12 TDF - https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/f12-tdf-did-someone-just-do-a-really-strong-buy-at-silverstone.660541/

$121k for a 2011 Cali indicates a very strong market, especially if you were selling as an individual without the added fees.

That's a ridiculous price - way over the market price, and I frankly find it difficult to believe.

There are plenty of 2011 Cali's on sale in the UK at around $90k to $100k with low mileages and full Ferrari service histories.

There's no information as to whether the one that sold at auction was being sold by a private seller or whether it had any warranty at all, but for very slightly more than the price this one allegedly sold for you can get a Ferrari approved 2015 T with 22k miles from an official Ferrari dealer, and presumably a proper warranty - https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202203143523150?sort=price-asc&radius=1500&year-to=2022&make=Ferrari&postcode=sw1a1aa&price-to=100000&advertising-location=at_cars&model=California&price-from=75000&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&include-delivery-option=on&page=4

There's something very strange about that sale.
