Installing an exhaust Valve switch.

CM- Most of those hard switches have been installed by dealers or techs, but many owners have installed the Capristo remote bypass control systems by themselves. Pretty simple with the Capristo unit hooking into the original harness and the original solenoid attaching to the Capristo unit. Requires one additional ground wire.

I used these to clamp the pipes.
If you don't like the sound you can take them off, but i love the sound with the valves open all the time.

I just had the Capristo switch installed on my Scud - love it - should have done it years ago

 

I'm very interested to hear your opinion of these new mods as I'm contemplating them too!

 

I guarantee you will not be disappointed as myself and quite a few others have installed these mods with excellent results

You almost do not need to do the mufflers themselves; secondary cat bypass pipes + valves will give you 90% if not more of the benefits (weight, sound, hp) compared to the full cat back system.

 

I had the Capristo Valve bypass installed on my 599. It sounds AWESOME!

So is there a switch in the cabin with th capristo in addition to the remote controllers?

 

TT- Not that I have seen. Just the remote. If you had a switch, you would not need the remote.

 

My capristo remote valve has just arrived in the local shop.

It will be installed by tomorrow , can't wait to see the difference.

 

what a great innovation from Capristo. Anyone install the valve controller on a HGTE car?

I had the fabspeed cat bypass installed today. Sound is absolutely ferocious. Capristo remote valve will be the next upgrade.
