Today my car was given a fail on the ITP - the car is a well known car, red in colour from 1980 - according to it's Classiche file. It's owner is not happy. Limpa lava vidro. - it worked when I press the button - not so for the Inspector. Chapa Matricula - been on the car for decades - today - too small by about 2cms.must have shrunk on the Autovia. Livrete - Pneus - apparently they are not supposed to have 390 "polegadas" ( seriously - even after I tried to explain millimetrico - I do know what inches are (!) it gives a 16" figure on the Matricula to be fair. EM Gases Co 3.5/5% - although this is type 1 problem and I should just leave it - it really Er p----d me off. Luz de Nevoeiro - not fitted - has to be installed. The car was made in 1980 but imported in 1991 so, after 23 years of no problems - today The Inspector decided - in this Centre to judge the car by 1991 rules. The car was Homologated in 1981 - I have the last two inspecçao certificates, and they used the 1981 date - what is correct? Hoje estou triste - I think the Inspector took a lot of pleasure in grounding a Ferrari, Viva la revolution. Rampa.....
Rampa, Switch inspection center. Those guys don't know what they are doing. I would love to introduce my 1960 5/60-15 MGA tires to that guy, along with no fog light, no harzard light switch, no seat belts and OPTIONAL windscreen wipers!!!!
It is tempting, Rui, Surely in a Country where you cannot modify cars - you must present the car in it's "Homologated " condition - applying 1991 or any other criteria is ludicrous. It leads to a potential situation where you import a Dino from 1971 - pay all the taxes and then not be able to drive your car because it is imported in 2014 - and it has no catalyser! É tentador, Rui, Certamente, em um país onde você não pode modificar os carros - você deve apresentar o carro em que está "Homologado" condição - a aplicação de 1991, ou qualquer outro critério é ridícula. Isso leva a um potencial situação onde você importar um 1971 Dino, pagar o imposto e depois não dirigir o carro porque não tem catalisador Rampa.
Sim, mude de centro! Já vi cada diferença com carros "normais", imagino no seu caso. Há pouco tempo, num centro onde fui durante anos seguidos, curiosamente sempre com o mesmo inspector, chumbaram-me o carro por algo que tinha quase desde que comprei o carro. Quando questionei porque é que aquele inspector sempre me tinha passado o carro durante 3 ou 4 anos seguidos, com aquela característica sempre presente, agora me chumbava o carro a resposta foi "ah não, não podia ter isto nos outros anos ou então não reparei". Está tudo dito! Há outros centros em que passa tudo, literalmente até é vergonhoso, noutros não passa nada e noutros ainda, só passa o que lhes apetece naquele dia, pelo neste caso o melhor é mesmo encontrar um centro mais "brando". Obrigado Matzagrin e Rui, Hoje eu fui para outro centro, com exatamente a mesma papelada eo carro agora tem um certificado de aprovação ! o novo inspetor concordou que o carro precisava ser testado com a data da homologação / ano de fabricação. Ultima vez que fui com Ferrari a IPO foi com o Vitor no Testarossa e a inspecção foi umas das melhores que já assisti, 1º como era Ferrari ficaram todos contentes. Até acharam melhor evitar fazer aquele teste final de folgas
...Pois. A primeira vez que levei o cavallino (contente) a uma Inspecção Periódica tinha 33 anos e o Senhor Examinador, vira-se e pergunta: "O carro é seu...?" Conheço uma pessoa que tinha na consola um botão sem função e a sua viatura reprovou por tal. Pois...
