Information Alert!!! Sem dinheiro da TV Bandeirantes, etapa brasileira da Indy disputada no Anhembi de 2014 deve ser cancelada / MSN - Grande Prêmio
Baltimore cancelled for 2014 and 2015, and probably beyond that Grand Prix of Baltimore canceled through 2015, and likely beyond - baltimoresun.com
Brasil gone. Baltimore gone. Iowa in trouble. Others concerned. You think its time to get back to what once was or does it go goodbye for good?
which "others" are concerned? good riddance to Brazil and Baltimore (IMO, there should be no races outside north america. Baltimore's track was half-assed and dangerous). losing Iowa would suck. if it were up to me the IndyCar schedule would have Iowa, Milwaukee Mile, Richmond, Phoenix and New Hampshire. love the short ovals. street circuits, not so much. I really think what killed Baltimore was USCR doesn't appear to be willing to go there.
I think that everyone is losing money on Indy Car has had a greater impact on why they are losing tracks. I think we are seeing the end of an era.
I think your being a little optimistic. NASCAR wants to crush its competition. And based on current TV & attendance of Indy Car........they're doing a right fine job of it too!!
Baltimore's track may have been have half-assed, but it was fun this year being a spectator (GT3 cars my favorite to watch). Close action and the hairpin imo was one of the best places to be. Hot as hell, but I'm glad I saw it as it doesn't appear to be coming back ever again.
they crushed motorcycle racing by buying it. they did the same with sports cars. whats left? Indy and NHRA.
Well the Baltimore GP won't be back next year. The course itself wasn't the greatest, but I enjoyed it out there. OpenWheelWorld.net >> Baltimore GP Canceled for 2014-15 as New Schedule Takes Shape
Just heard that Juan Pablo Montoya is leaving NASCAR to race in the IRL next season on the radio. Couldn't hear the source.
Juan Pablo Montoya to drive for Team Penske Juan Pablo Montoya to drive for Team Penske - US News and World Report
if he can get down to race weight, he will fin races and very possibly be the IRL champ again. He is fast and you don't have to like him...he just is. pcb
When Montoya moves back to Indy Cars, does the entire viewing Continent of South America go with him? On his move to NASCAR, it was said that Montoya's presence alone would quickly make NASCAR the most watched sport in South America and garner a huge Latino following. How'd all that work out? BHW
hot from the news wire: racer danica Patrick has brought her considerable skillz to nascar and through her winning wayz has singlehandedly made nascar the most watched sport in north...and south America
