As the title states. I've been doing my own oil changes and such but want a indie shop that can do other things like exhaust etc.

    Hi Tim,

I highly recommend Mark Glenwood at 7 Lakes Auto Repair in Arlington.

Does anyone have experience with both Mark Glenwood and Josh at Veloce, and can provide a comparison? I have an appointment with 7 Lakes for my 412 but Josh is a lot closer.

Unfortunately we don't have that many great techs in the Seattle area and as a newer ferrari owner this was a tough one to navigate. But over the last few years, these are the shops I'd use.

    1. Mark Glenwood at 7 Lakes Auto Repair
I've never used Mark but he has a stellar reputation and is an extremely accomplished tech. He's also an extremely nice guy, and has helped me out a bunch over the phone. Would highly recommend for jobs requiring a lot of technical expertise. He also charges the prices to match, which makes total sense - he's the best.

    2. The other go to is Veloce Motorsports in Kirkland. Josh is great but I do know of stories of botched jobs (particularly a clutch job on an older 12 cylinder car). He's also extremely booked out, impossible to get an appointment on a reasonable timeline.

    3. This one is the lesser known one and actually the shop I've used the most for my 599. Dima from German Autohaus is stellar. He mostly works on cars post F430 (so 430s, 599s, 458s, etc). He charges reasonable rates, does great work and turns around cars reasonably fast. He does get booked out quickly as well however, so keep that in mind. He services most of the newer exotics in the area. Would highly recommend.
