I’m in the process of buying a 430 and live in indianapolis indiana. No Ferrari dealers. Closest is in Chicago and obviously going to the dealer for everything is expensive. I know Brian Stewart was good here but he has retired. Where are the Indy/Midwest taking their cars? A good independent that is capable of working on these cars seems hard to come by.
    Thank you

Call here for Brian Stewart https://www.thecarvault.com/

If he is not there, ask for the person that took over for him. I cannot remember his name. Highly recommend these guys! Brian was an F1 mechanic and knows all of the ins and outs of Ferrari's and from what I could tell, so did his apprentice who did most of the work on my car this last Spring.

Thank you sir. I’ll reach out. I heard Brian was retiring. Nice to know a good guy might be taking over.

Admittedly I don't know this shop even though I'm in (eastern) Indiana. I've been using NJB in Westerville, OH for many years but with Jack's passing I have been considering options. However, when looking at The Car Vault's current website I don't see anything that would lead me to believe there is a competency with Ferrari. Their focus seems to be weighted towards American muscle. If they featured some exotics I might feel differently.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Brian Stewart and his apprentice are renting space and using their admin services. They are not listed on the website. Brian is a retired F1 mechanic and knows Ferraris inside and out. He may be retired at this point but his apprentice is equally qualified. Having last been there in the Spring, I can confirm he had several newer and older Ferraris that were in the shop that were being completely overhauled. The work they did on my car was done perfectly and within financial reason. I will be taking my car from South Bend to Indy anytime I need service done on it. I have FULL confidence in their abilities.

Hi. I saw njb too. What’s your experience been with them ? Have you seen quality decline after they lost someone?
    Thank you

Brian is still working and set to do the belts on my 360 in a couple weeks. I hope he doesn't retire in the next two weeks.

Did you have any luck finding Brian’s apprentice?
Brian used to work on my car but I no longer know how to reach him or his successor.

Since this thread was resurrected, I have used NJB for the past 3 years. Fantastic service.
