Check out Drivers Source on Memorial. www.driversource.com. Really nice facility and group of guys. Mark is the chief tech and he's done a ton of work on F-cars. He works on a lot of older and current models. He was the chief gear box technician for Newman/Haas racing on CHAMP cars for a long time and really seems to know his stuff. They still occasionally fly him to races for tough problems.

Also, I've heard that Matthews Automotive works on F-cars.

I'm gonna quit referring Vintage on Kempwood, as my two keep getting pushed further into the crowd...LOL!

A search down in the Texas Section will yield some additional results.....

    JRV is still dead....R.I.P.

    alan, lilterally dead!

vintage as in Ferda? you have two of three of your three 308's with him? and he's backed up?

It's time for a belt change and I've got a couple other issues, maybe serious. some kind of engine noise, first I thought it was coming from the alternator belt, makes alot of noise at start up, increases with higher revolution, get quieter after car warms up (thought it might be belt warming up, but now I'm not so sure, maybe coming from engine which means $$$). Also gave little bits of fuel being spit up from somewhere on the bottom of the carbs. (had the carbs pulled and reworked last year, but don't think the guy eurowerke did a good job on thie (or other projects I gave him)

so I'm also looking for a new guy. you would think a city as big as houston would have many options.

    any other feedback on driversource?

    thanks,

    rick jaffe
