Hi everyone, I'm looking to get some work done on my car for this spring: Electronics need to be worked on (radio does not turn off) Interior cosmetic work (repair driver seat split seam, re-upholster steering wheel airbag cover) Exterior work (touch up paint, ceramic coating & xpel clear vinyl) If someone has a knowledgable, reliable, affordable (in Ferrari terms) shop they can recommend near Fairfield County, Connecticut please let me know. Can't wait to get back in the driver seat! Thanks for the advice! -Michael Image Unavailable, Please Login
I haven’t been yet, but I hear P1 in Stamford is good. I know the owner used to work for Miller Motors.
We offer free enclosed pick and delivery to CT. Check out a current 550 project that has a mix of mechanical and cosmetic repair work https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/bradan-ferrari-550-major-service-and-paint.566780/
i had universal in glen cove work on my maserati GT a few years back. they do a ton of work on ferrari.not so close to fairfield. but they are tri-state
I can attest to their leatherwork. They redid all of my 308's leather like 6 years ago. To this day, it's wonderful.
Tommy at P1 does fantastic work, great guy. I know many F-Car owners that use him. I've used him for my GT, and am very pleased. That being said, I've been to Bradan's facility, and they do great work too, and I know quite a few people that have used them as well!
Does anyone know if P1 does pickup and drop off service? (With the weather the way it is, I need to still consider this) Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Sport Auto in Gaylordsville has been the only NY-area shop for my 328. Wayne Carini/Chasing Classics sends his vintage Ferraris to Sport Auto/Bill Pollard if that tells you anything.
Thanks! I used Bill's shop for my major service and suspension work. It's just a little far to drive, with it still acting like winter (90 miles round trip).
John Tirrell at IFS in Easton, MA. Probably closer to you than Fairfield County. John is excellent. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
And here is the proof... southbound on i95 at Greenwich a few weeks back Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks guys for all the kind words. For anyone interested in following this cars service thread please view the following link https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/bradan-550-major-service.574931/
How did it turn out? It seems like P1 is too overwhelmed with business to respond to inquiries in a timely manner. Considering taking my car to a different shop.
