T-50 does sound silly but its an amazing spec being produced by Gordon who's got the creditability to deliver

The sound still at the early prototype stage. I hope the next prototype for us to watch and hear will be a better one.

Yes I agree on the spec, an amazing one. As a Ferrari fan, I may jump to Gordon camp once the T.50 arrives :)

$3m for a boxter-sized car with bug eyes and a clown fan on the back? You must be joking. If I want a small direct car I’ll buy a lotus elise and save $2,950,000.

the driving experience of the two will differ greatly

it's intresting that ferrari fans in general seem to dislike the t50 more than those of other marques - a small observation from looking at different marque specific forums across the internet.

Can you at least stop spitting the same criticism over and over again until someone publishes a review? ;)

Clown fan? So you think Gordon Murray, who designed F1 cars for over 15 years, plus something called a McLaren F1, doesn't have a clue? okay.

Over and over again? I think I wrote it once. Also I didn’t say anything about Gordon Murray, where did I say he doesn’t have a clue? My opinion is what I wrote above and as you can see I am not repeating it.

There is a really interesting point that you raise, "boxter-sized car". Is this in itself a deterrent for you?
I am genuinely curious since I am probably one of the few car fans who was a McLaren F1 fan till I saw one in person. It remains the single most underwhelming car event of my life till date (this of course is purely based on visual impression and has nothing to do with the greatness of the driving impression).

once on this thread and 3? times on thread under 'British'. We get it, overpriced & clown fan. (Gordon Murray designed clown fan) :) Let's just wait for some reviews before burning it.

can't argue with the 'visual', BUT, apparently they drive pretty good for people to pay $15 mil+ for them. :)

That's a fallacy. People pay 50 million for "bronze age" 250 GTOs...

Why is this in the 288GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, LaFerrari section to begin with? It isn't Enzo specific and there's already a thread dedicated to the Enzo anyway.

Did you read the thread title? o_O It started as a 'this or that' question. For $3 mil, Enzo or T-50. :)

Id be very interested to know why the size of the car is such a deterrent? To me the packaging is masterful and I really think cars have simply become so big, the SF90 being a good example.

To think the SF90 is nearly 100% heavier than the T50.....

I did not know the SF90 is nearly twice heavy. Plus it does not provide a ample storage space unlike the T.50. :)

According to the shipping manifest of user gzachary, his Stradale weighs 1670 kg wet. For the T50 to be half the weight, it would need to weigh 835 kg wet. Not likely...

    https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/147862988/

Not to mention that they are two totally different cars in terms of philosophy (and cost) and that only one of them actually exists at the moment.

it's the t50s that weighs 850kg wet, the t50 will weigh 980kg wet which is still 690kg lighter than an sf90 and as said previously has luggage compartments on both sides of the engine + other spots for storage. it's a practical car
