    I had a nit-with female, driving a suburban, talking on the phone in front of me at least 200 feet traveling at 60mph when she ran over a dirt claude the size of a watermellon. Well it got caught UNDER her SUV and threw rocks everywhere. I was able to avoid a couple of apple size pieces by manuevering around, but a couple of peanut sized rocks hit my hood. So, I need someone to touch it up for me.

    I can go to the dealer, but I know they'll just call someone in--not a bad deal. If you know of someone that you have had personal experience with on a high-end car, I would be grateful if you'd share it with me. Or even a dealer experience since that's probably where I'll end up.

    Thanks for responding. Did they repaint the entire front? What'd they charge?

    They repaired the crumpled hood, bumper and repainted the front end. Blended perfectly. It was covered under insurance so I don't remember the breakdown on parts/labor.

    If you need it resprayed, 4M does a fantastic job.

    If you just want it professionally touched up, give me a call. We have a company that we recently started using that does incredibly good work.

    I have used Marshall Jaeger at Colormate for years. Phone is 214-878-4718. Marshall uses an airbrush for small chips, nicks and rubs. Work is fantastic. He is mobile and will come to your place, but lately he has been doing a lot in Plano at one of the car dealers so I just take my car over their, leave it in the AM and pick it up in the PM. Highly recommend him. Dave Walters
