I am stoked. I am a year and a half into a ground up on a 74' 365 GT4/2+2. Have been a member for a little while, but finally wondered onto the 365, 400,412 area. Is this a rather new area? Vey cool!

I couldn't agree with you more! Somehow having our own forum has brought out all of us who didn't contribute as much about our specific models.

Our cars are much rarer than any of the mass produced cars and here in our own forum we can see everything about the other owners, their problems, how they solved them and how they enjoy their cars without being overwhelmed by thousands of posts about 348s (not to pick on that model or to suggest that there is anything wrong with owning one) and other models.

Is it Prugna? I've always thought a 364/400/412 would look great that color!

in profile view, this car is gorgeous, the style is all the time the same, untemporal like others cars, PF effect.

Yep, PF knew it too. Same shape was in production from 1972-1989, 17 years!!! The one that replaced it wasn't bad either...

I've always liked the shape, it seems a fitting shape for a more refined style. Its on my list of Ferrari's I'd like to own someday. Its a car with styling you can admire, but will not catch the eye of everyone who see's it.

my current car was a bit of a shock the first few times I drove it, totaly the oppisite.

Thanks to al who posted pictures, I enjoy looking at Ferrari's. :)

I'm not exactly sure of the color. I went back and tried to match it with some early 1970's colors. It came close to Rosso Cordoba, and 1 other I can't remember. The original color was Grigio Mahmoud. I think someone had it painted in the late 80's, to compliment the interior a little better. I'm considering getting it painted back to the original color. Any thoughts?

I thought y'all would be pleased to hear that, after seeing several examples of the series lined up yesterday at Reading, I have a new found admiration for the subtle style of these cars.

I wonder is this your actual car in this print from 1977? See http://www.schumacher-fanclub.com/index.html?target=p_314.html&lang=en-us

Looks great in grey with red/burgundy leather...it would be nice to return it to its original colour

    Just my worthless opinion...
I think you'd add 25% to your car's value if it was original. Don't skimp on the quality of the paint job.
If you can afford it I'd hang on to that one, someday the 1st one is going to be worth some big bucks.

I've seen that picture before, and I think it might be my car. I do like that color of gray. I spoke with one guy at the KOP gathering last month, and he said it would run between 10K-12K. Would love to run it across the stage at Barrett Jackson some year down the line. The previous owner bought it there in 1992.

TripS were good - just got back from Berlin, was in London before that. Will try to get your steering wheel out this weekend. :)

The picture is not in the bronx, but actually across the street from my apt in manhattan: It is actually a lovely area - the lighting and dumpster certainly make it seem frightening though - that was my goal in taking the picture.
