Less than a half hour to go. Is Kimi sandbagging or is his set up not what he wants? I'm hoping Felipe will get another pole. Carol
Good morning...6 minutes to go. We need a strong finish from both cars to have a shot at the titles; so lets see what Kimi and Massa can pull out today. Mark Edit....is anyone watching Inside GP and see the Monaco race Lauda won; at the finish line someone in a yellow jacket in the background decked someone just off screen with a heck of a shot...haha
Good afternoon to you Steve - it's 0655 here for me right now. Wonder where everyone is this morning? Actually it matters not who has pole as along as P1 & P2 are red cars. Carol Inside Grand Prix was good this morning - - it's on now!!! Good morning to you Mark!
Good morning Carol. 5:01 here in still dark Southern California. We'll see how quali goes. Kimi is still probably trying to find the right set up, but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets it together for the sessions. Felipe seems to have it figured out though...so much for our concerns about the long wheelbase making the cars uncompetitive at this track. Maybe it was the Stepney detergent that bogged the cars down at Monaco X )
Live timing is > 9 minutes in Q1 - apparently quite windy on the circuit - saying it could affect set up. Wurz in P1 right now - that just changed and will be continually changing now. Only 6 drivers have set times. I like the overview of everything Inside Grand Prix offers about the particular GP. Carol
Speed with all the commercials is currently a 9 minute lag behind the live timing. Not to complain as at least there's live coverage and not tape delayed. If an event is occurring I want to be right there with the action, not a bit later! Carol
I know what you mean, but I like to watch it so I stay away from Live Timing during qauli. I don't like to have the broadcast "spoiled" by already knowing who is going to be on top of each session. Mark
Good morning to you too Brian in still dark CA! No kidding Steve, a bad morning for Honda - poor Jenson, he's not have a very good time of late. Not at all surprised with Spyker . .guess we'll see what their major changes will do to their cars for Turkey. Q2 underway right now. Carol
Wonder what happened to Massa - stopping at pit exit and being pushed back to garage? this is not good . . . . Carol
Massa is out???? What happened to his car??? What did he do wrong in that last sector? He lost almost a second versus everyone else. Another bad weekend for the Scuderia. I think this championship race is over, barring a miracle.
Knocked out in Q2 - Luizzi, Davidson, Massa (14th), Wurz, Kovalainen, DC I got a feeling it's gonna be a McLaren pole. Carol
Hamilton's turning laps close to the all-time record, and Kimi's .8 behind, .2 behind TRULLI??? This may be the weekend that decides the championship (on the track, at least)
