OK, I'm probably going to be embarrassed here, but I cannot find how to set the clock on my 612. I can't find it anywhere in the owner's manual or in searches in this forum.

I picked up the car yesterday and the clock is about 25 minutes behind actual time. Before I resort to disconnecting the battery for 23 hours and 35 minutes, can someone please tell me how to reset it? Puleeeezzze.

I have a 599 and I had to alter my clock the other day too. I hope the method is the same as the 612.

Importantly the car has to be stationary.

The 2 buttons on the dash next to the instrument panel, click until you get to car setup. You use the toggle levers under the steering wheel to get to car setup and then date and time.

Hopefully this he same for your vehicle.

I hope you enjoy your 612.

Thanks for the effort Condor Man, but my 612 must operate differently. No matter how I push the buttons on the dash panel and the ones behind the steering wheel, I don't get any screen that reads "car setup" nor any option that could adjust the clock.

    Still looking .......

Yes, the clock adjustments are done through the steering wheel. Scroll through "display" and its in one of those categories. You adjust using the buttons behind the steering wheel

Note it is different on the early 612s and the OTO/Sessanta, which has a separate panel for the display, up/down, etc. buttons.

For early 612s, the 06 owners manual explains how to set the clock on page 45. Menu, date/time, use the up, down and select buttons on the back of the steering wheel.

I tried all configurations and nothing worked. Actually in my owners manual the only functions it states for the left control is adjust volume and activate voice commands/accept incoming call. The right side controls selected functions of the Bose entertainment system and to cancel voice commands or reject a phone call.

Taz, on page 45 of my manual all it reads is "The clock is always displayed in area A, in all configurations, and can be viewed in the “24h” or “12h – AM/PM” format." That is it, that is the only info about the clock in the whole manual.

I am going to take to a local Ferrari independent and ask them. I wanted to introduce myself to them anyway. Thanks so much for trying guys. When I find out I was missing something really obvious, I will post it here!

If it is an OTO, you go to the "Settings" menu in the Bose Media Center.

My "Semi-Automatic" setting feature never gets it right any more. Does anyone know where that gets its time information?

Don! Thank you! I did it!

I downloaded the Owner's Manual a week before picking the car up so I read through that several times. However, the Bose Media System manual wasn't available online and I wasn't able to read it all once I picked up the car. The info was right where you said it would be.

In my defense though, I did check the index of the Bose manual and there is no entry for time or date or clock. Plus that info started on page 158 which literally comprises the last 3 pages of the manual. I also didn't expect the Bose system to control an item on the TFT.

Well clearly I still have a lot to learn.

Yes, it has the electro chromatic roof, ceramic brakes, the manettino, and the HGT2 package (among other goodies).

Paul- Almost sounds like you have the OTO 612 and a non-OTO owners manual. Look on ferraridatabase.com and there is an OTO owners manual you can download (3558/09). The steering wheel controls are completely different for the two cars. Would explain why there were no instructions on the clock page.

Terry, I had thought of that possibility, but it is not the case. I did download the manual you describe. That was the one I was reading before I picked up the car. However it matches perfectly with my manual which does read "US Version Model Year 2008". Page 78 in my manual shows the new steering wheel with the ENGINE START button and the manettino. It also matches page 40 that shows the MODE panel on the dash to the right of the steering wheel, and page 45 that only gives that brief sentence about the clock.

However, my Bose Media Manual is apparently for the non-OTO model because on page 11 there is a photo of the older 4 button steering wheel. Hopefully there were no changes in the operation of the system so everything is applicable to my model year. I still haven't plowed through this manual yet, but at least the clock setting procedure worked. Thank goodness, that clock being off about 25 minutes was driving me nuts!
