I've just received my 488 spider last weekend and am finding many spots on the inside leather (seats, door panels, rear panel, dashboard) with a greasy substance that I believe comes from the anyone who touched the lubrication used for the convertible top hinge points. I've tried many different leather cleaners including Griot's leather cleaner but it won't come off.

    Anyone here with suggestions?

I don't know bud. I have always had good luck with a strong dish washing liquid in water.

I've always had good luck with a damp microfiber with or without a spritz of Lexol leather cleaner.

I have used the Leather master dye transfer cleaner which worked well with a smidgen of elbow grease to work it into a foam lather. I suspect their degreaser works as advertised and may get those tougher stains out.

Ooops, yes, use a good leather conditioner after the cleaning.
