    Hey guys

Anyone know how to remove the interior A-pillar trim panel? I know I could take it to the dealer. But if I am trying to DIY it, how is it removed? Anyone done this yet?

On a 488 it just pulls off -- attached with clips. Might need a pry tool to get it started and then a real hard tug. I watched the fellow who installed my laser jammer remove it in order to thread wiring.

On a 458 you will want to look at the shop manual. Not difficult, but more involved.
    Out of memory.....
You will have to pop off the rear ceiling trim piece, then both side pieces. Then the front roof piece. For the front piece, I think you will need to take the visors off first, then the center light assembly, then that also unclips. After that, I'm pretty sure that the edge piece on the dashboard pops off (not sure about this step, or how they pop off) and it will expose a screw at the bottom of the A-pillar. Once that is unscrewed, the A-pillar pops off its clips. On typical cars they just pop off, and according tp FPFaeth, it seems like they simplified it on the 488, and made it just pop off like other "standard" cars.

Did they start prying from the top the center or the side of the trim piece? And which side of the trim? The windscreen glass side or the door frame glass side? I'm talking 488 here.

Good question. He started prying from the top and pulled out and down. It does take a good amount of force. Hope this helps.

The Ferrari graphics are nowhere close to Japanese graphics that show every little detail.

But looking at the spare parts both the top and bottom of the A-Pillar trim have tabs that slot in the other 2 parts. Also 2 what look like push in tabs. I would be getting to the lower piece and removing that first then you could pop the 2 push tabs by pulling at the trim . Once popped move the A pillar trim down.

If they are actually screws that would be the only way. But on the 488 GTB it shows as clips.

Dashes are put in as one piece after all other trim has been installed. The they are screws the only way will be to remove the whole dash. Not sure on the 488 GTB/PISTA

No. You may want to look at the shop manual, then follow step by step. It's not that hard, but you have to follow step by step, so you don't break anything
